"STUDENTS LOAN ACT 2023: A BRIDGE OR A BARRIER TO NIGERIAN STUDENTS?"

Olanrewaju Barakat Olabisi FACULTY OF SOCIAL SCIENCES AGREED ON THE VIEW THAT STUDENT LOAN IS A BRIDGE TO NIGERIAN STUDENTS . The first speaker, in the person of Oluwadara Ifeoluwa said, Nigeria who happens to be the giant of Africa lacks quality education, It lacks access to education itself and it also lacks resources to power this education. However, we should know that Quality is equal to increase in cost meaning it is expensive.  To have a quality education we should know that it entails the use of technology, Good teachers and adequate facilities for lectures, that is why the governments have put in place interest free loan for acquiring quality education.  Why is the government collecting the fund back? This might seem as a barrier but it is not,in the sense that we have to pay back to keep making improvements in quality education.  The second speaker, Ifeoluwa Odeyemi backed these points up by saying the opponents might see this as a barrier because of the cause ...

FACULTY OF SOCIAL SCIENCES RECORDS VICTORY AGAINST FACULTY OF EDUCATION AT A NOVELTY FOOTBALL MATCH.

Aboluwarin Oluwatamilore Grace .  Today, freshers from the faculty of education played against freshers from the faculty of Social Sciences at the sports complex, training pitch 1.  As a normal match, the match started with 11 players from the faculty of social sciences and five substitute players waiting on the bench and the match lasted for 90 minutes. The lineups are Tunji (Psalmist), Benjamin, Favour, Ayobami (Alaga) Captain, Ayomide, Tolu, Maroff, David, Tomide, Clinton, Joel.
